Collingham Crawl and Canter 2010
The fifth annual fun run will take place on Sunday 16th May, 2010. Leaving from the Lawn Tennis Club car park on Cottage Lane at 11.00am, it will finish next to the scoreboard at the far end of the cricket ground. The route is mostly on quiet country lanes and will be marshalled by volunteers, and although not accurately measured is approximately 5km or 3 miles. Village roads are not closed on the day, but police special constables will be on duty, and we request that runners keep to the left hand side of the road unless directed by police or marshals.
This event has become part of the village calendar, and we look forward to seeing our regular runners/walkers return and lots of new faces.
For those of you who are not runners or walkers but would like to be involved, we always need help, please ring Kathy, you’ll find her number on the entry form.

The fourth annual fun run took place on Sunday 10th May, 2009. We were very fortunate with the weather again this year which generated a large number of entries on the day. The organisers would like to thank everyone who took part and gave assistance to make the event a success. A particular thank you must go to the sponsors that stayed with us this year, despite the difficult financial climate.
